St Joseph the Worker novena coming up at the end of this month. I think I will add this as I pray.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I hadn’t heard of this one before, though I do love Frost.
I see why you mention it; the last stanza seems to be Frost’s answer to exactly the sort of questions I pose here.
I might add that, in both style and content, I was greatly influenced by Rudyard Kipling’s “If—” when writing this.
